Question:
Blood meal is a source of a high nitrogen quick release fertilizer to promote fast and bigger growth. Please let me know if using blood meal to fertilize my plants is permissible? Jazakallah hu khaiyran

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Blood meal is made of blood. Blood is najis/impure. It is not permissible to derive benefit from impurity. Accordingly, it will not be permissible to use blood meal to fertilize your plants. If it was already used, it will not affect the halaal nature of the harvest. The harvest will remain halaal. However, istighfaar should be made.
