Question:
I am living in Dallas USA, suffering from cornea damage in one eye, Doctor have the conclusion that I need cornea transplant cause my eye is blurry and vision is extremely poor that I need assistance, I am a Sunni Muslim of Hanafi faith my question can I use a dead person’s donated cornea? And we will never know whether the deceased was a Muslim or a nonMuslim. Please advice from

May Allaah Ta’aala grant you complete shifaa. May He make the procedure successful.
In the enquired situation, it will be permissible for you to accept and use the cornea of a dead person. This is irrespective of whether the person was a Muslim or a non-Muslim.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
