Question:
Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatahu,
If a sister says something clearly against Islam on social media,is it permissible to private message her to correct her?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

If a person of the opposite gender says something contrary to Islamic values on social media, you may correct her publicly on that with wisdom and ethics or have a mahram of yours message her privately. You should not private message her. That is perhaps from the deceptions of the shaytaan.
