If a dog sniffs on me, put his front legs on me, but if I am sure it didn’t lick my cloths.
Can i pray with that cloths?
What if I wipe them with water?
Or is it must to wash them and for me to take a bath?
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
- A dog sniffing you or your clothes does not make you or the clothes najis. You can perform salaah without washing anything.
- If a dog touched you but there was no saliva or perspiration that came in contact with you, then there was no transfer of impurity. You may perform salaah in that condition without washing or changing anything.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
