Question:
I wear leather socks for masah. Sometimes I need to use the toilet facility in the masjid. Children also use the toilets and many young children dont take care when using the toilet facilities hence slippers etc are impure.
Am I ok to use the same toilet facilities with my leather socks, make masah on my socks and enter the masjid, as I fear there maybe impurity on the socks. Is my understanding correct?

We take note of the details of your query. While it is true that many children do not clean up properly after using the facilities, it is incorrect to assume that the slippers have impurity on them unless you are certain. Ignore the thoughts. If you genuinely feel that there is impurity, then consider wiping the bottom of the leather socks dry with tissue or wet paper towels. That would remove any impurity that may be on them. Alternatively, take your own shoes when you go there.
