Question:
Asalaamualaikun wrwb,

I wanted to ask if duck is halal to eat?
I was told we cannot because they have webbed feet, but on Islam q&a it mentions it is permissible.

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

It is permissible to eat ducks provided that they are slaughtered in accordance to the Shari’ah laws of slaughter. Their feet being webbed has no affect on their halaal status.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
