The games and Basketball stuff

Can we do that for Eid for kids?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

‘Eid is a day of happiness and joy. One is encouraged to do things that will make the day feel lively and enjoyable. There is no problem in hosting events and halaal games such as basketball tournaments on the day of ‘Eid. One should go out of his way to allow the children to experience and enjoy the happiness of this day. Obviously, all this must be done while observing the laws of Shari’ah.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
