Question:
my one eye has cornea damage Dr says need eye transplant I am 77 years old donors eye would be from dead person. Success Chances are 50/50 plus donors Muslim or not will never know. Does sharia allows

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

May Allaah Ta’aala grant him complete shifaa and bless you with a long blissful life. In the enquired situation, it will be permissible for you to undergo an eye transplant. The donor’s religion is irrelevant.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
