Question:
Dua for Shaban month
Muslims should recite the given dua for 1000 times in the month of Shaban:
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَلاَ نَعْبُدُ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُون
Meaning – “There is no god save Allah. We do not worship save ‘He’ alone, making religion pure for Him (only) However, the disbelievers are averse.”

Assalāmuʿalykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh
Respected Mufti saheb is the above established through Sunnah?
Jazak Allah khairan katheeran
Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
The above are baseless fabrications. It may not be attributed to Nabi ﷺ. One should not act upon the above nor share it with others. However, one is encouraged to increase in worship in general in preparation for the month of Ramadhan.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
