Question:
Are you allowed to pray the fajr sunnah after the fardh Salah before Ishraq time. Like if I’m missing jamaah, can I pray the sunnah rig hot after fardh. I know there is a time when you aren’t allowed to pray
Right after *
Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
According to the Hanafi legal school, it one misses his Fajr sunnahs, then the qadhaa of it may only be made after sunrise and before midday/istiwaa. It may not be made immediately after the fardh. The other legal schools however do permit qadhaa of it immediately thereafter. One is advised to adhere the legal rulings of his madhab.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
