First 10 days of Dhul Hijjah vs last 10 nights of Ramadhan

Fatwaa ID: 1318

Assalaamu ‘Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh

What is better, the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, or the last 10 nights of Ramadan, because in those last 10 nights it can be Layla qadr which equals to 1000 months/83 years of worship. Which is better?
just to add, ik some say that the first 10 days of dhul hijjah are better than the days of Ramadan/last 10 days of Ramadan, and that the last 10 nights of Ramadan are better than the first 10 nights of dhul hijjah, but what I’m asking is the first 10 days of dhul hijjah vs the last nights of Ramadan(Layla qadr), which are better?

also what is better, arafah or laylatul qadr?

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

We take note of the details of your query. We wish to remind you that such discussions and questions are void of benefit and perhaps futile. We understand and believe that both sets are very much blessed and virtuous. The true question should be how much are we taking advantage of both sets. Let us learn the virtues of both and take full advantage of both as well.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
