Question:
One of my hand had an injury requiring many stitches. I cannot get it wet for a couple days. The first night after I got stitches, I had a wet dream. Since I cannot get my hand wet, what is the ruling on how I can complete ghusl? Again, I absolutely cannot get my hand wet to avoid infection. JazakAllahukhairun

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

May Allaah Ta’aala make it easy for you and grant you complete shifaa. If you are unable to wash your hand due to the said injury, you may wipe over the cast or bandage. If that is harmful, then you may leave out that part and wash the rest of the body. Your ghusl will be valid in this manner.
