I had a personal question
As my father suffering from paralysis and brain stroke
So Weekly i need to give him gusul
So to give bath i need to remove clothes and give bath
So in this condition is it necessary to cover the satar of my father while bathing
Waiting for your reply
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
May Allaah Ta’aala make it easy for you and him and grant him shifaa. May Allaah Ta’aala reward you abundantly for serving your father.
The satar/’awrah must be covered at all times unless necessary. We advise that when you bathe him, you should place a towel or cloth on that portion and wash from beneath it without looking. When necessary to look, you may uncover then.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
