Glucose sensor in ihram, disposable paper diaper, sweat pad

Question:
Assalamalaikum Brother

  1. I am diabetic and use Dexcom 7 sensor to monitor my blood glucose readings. Am I allowed to have the sensor on my arm during Umrah and Hajj?
  2. I have Ulcerative Colitis and Prostate Cancer. Can I use disposable paper diaper?
  3. Assalamu Alaikum
    Can Men & Women put on a sweat pad in Ihram ? If so can they put fragrance on the before putting on Ihram ?

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

May Allaah Ta’aala grant you shifaa. May He accept your ‘Umrah and Hajj.

  1. It will be permissible to have a blood glucose sensor on your arm while in the state of ihraam for Hajj and ‘Umrah.
  2. You may use disposable paper diapers while in the state of ihraam.
  3. It will be permissible to put on a sweat pad while in ihraam. Fragrance may be put on the sweat pad prior to entering the state of ihraam. It will not be permissible to put fragrance on it afterwards.
