Mufti I wanted to ask if grillz are allowed to be worn in Islam

Grillz are removable decorative tooth covers. They are often made silver or jewel-encrusted precious metals that snap over one or more teeth.

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Grillz are removable dental jewelries worn over the teeth. They are purely for cosmetic purposes and are often worn to show off one’s wealth. Furthermore, this is something directly linked to the flagrant sinners and the degenerates. Accordingly, it does not behoove a Muslim to wear such things. A Muslim must stay away from this.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
