Fatwaa ID: 453
Is permitted to preform Hajj by borrowing remaining money from families, friends and relatives with interest free.
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
At the outset, if one is unable to afford the Hajj journey, then Hajj is not obligatory on him. The Shari’ah does not advise him to take loans to go for Hajj. If he wishes to take a loan and go, then that is permissible provided that he is confident he will be able to pay it off with ease.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
