As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Interest money is impure and must be given away in charity to the poor and needy without any expectation of reward. The recipient must be a Muslim who is eligible to receive zakaah. When giving it to him/her, it is not necessary to mention where the money is from nor should it be mentioned. It may be given to them as a gift. Once they receive it, they may do as they wish with it. There is no need to advise them how to use it. Leave it to their discretion.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
