if a kafir tells me to pray on a specific spot but i have thoughts in mind without any concrete proof that he wants me to pray on an impure spot, it’s kufr in my opinion to pray on an impure spot. should i give him benefit of doubt?
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
We take note of the details of your query.
- You should not entertain unfounded doubts and thoughts. Why would a non-Muslim direct you to an impure place for prayer? Furthermore, we base matters on their apparent. If you do not see any impurity on a spot, then that spot is pure and you may pray there.
- While the salaah would be invalid, it is not kufr to perform salaah on an impure spot. Your “opinion” is unwanted and irrelevant. Stay in your lane and refrain from making comments beyond your qualifications. You are not an authority in the Shari’ah. You will be accountable for such unqualified comments.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
