Question:
Assalamu Alaykum Mufti Sahib,

Would it be permissible to listen to the following nasheed? It starts properly about 50 seconds in.

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

It is not clear which instrument is being used in the video above. If the instrument used is a one sided duff, then it will be permissible to listen to the above dhikr. If it is any other instrument, then it will not permissible.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
