Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatahu Mufteen,
Is it wrong to say and believe “We love RasulAllah ﷺ more than other Prophets and Messengers (AS)?”
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
The imaan of a believer is incomplete until he loves Rasulullaah ﷺ more than anyone else, including the other prophets. Rasulullaah ﷺ said,
“None of you will be a (complete) believer until I am dearer to him than his father, his child and all of mankind.” [Bukhaari 15]
Accordingly, the above statement is not incorrect provided that it is not said to put down any of the other prophets. We respect, love and revere each and every prophet but Nabi ﷺ the most.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
