Question:
Assalamualaikum Mufti Sahab,
There are many Xerox shops (especially owned and run by muslims) in our city Hyderabad which provides mini Xerox for students , having knowledge that they will use them as cheating chits during exam.

Does money earned by selling them mini Xerox (knowing that the student will use it for cheating during exam) is Halaal?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

By “xerox”, we understand that you are referring to photocopying. By “mini”, we understand that you are referring to size reduction. Students print pages in smaller size for whatever reason. It is permissible to provide this service to them. You are not responsible for how they use it afterwards.
