Mount Uhud is from Jannah

Fatwaa ID: 1965

Salaam, we have always heard that the Rawdah is a garden of jannah and mount uhud is a mountain of jannah.

Will the same blessings apply to someone praying and doing dua in both locations?

Specifically the dua to ask Allah not to remove one from jannah once they have entered jannah. This this dua is commonly made in the rawdah. Can that dua be made on mount uhud too?
Especially considering getting into the Rawdah is so difficult now days.

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

It is true that the Rawdhah is a garden of Jannah and that Mount Uhud is a mountain of Jannah. However, there is no specific du’aa or act of worship narrated for both of these places. One may seek their blessings by making the du’aa in question in both places. That being said, one is not a replacement for the other. Due effort should be made to visit both places.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
