Mulk and Sajdah between Maghrib and Ishaa

Fatwaa ID: 1406

The Prophet (SAW) said: “The person who reads Surah Sajdah and Surah Mulk between Maghrib and Isha. The reward (for reading these two Surahs) will be as though he (the reader) had stood awake (during the night of) Laylatul Qadr.”

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The above narration is a fabrication. However, reciting Surah Mulk and Sajdah every night is an established sunnah, as recorded in other Ahaadith.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
