Question:
Assalamualaikum ww,
Respected Mufti Saheb,

Someone would like to name their daughter Amaal Isbah (hope n light)..
Is that ok?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The above are suitable for names. The first name should be without the alif, i.e., Amal. The Arabic of the above names are أمل and إصباح.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
