Question:
Aww

If a traveller is a muqeem at the time is sehri and she starts her journey at 9 am, is it compulsory to fast that day or does she have rukhsah ??

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The dispensation of a musaafir temporarily skipping the fast is availed only to those who are musaafir before the time of Fajr comes in. If a person is a muqeem at the time of Fajr and he wishes to travel afterwards, this dispensation will not be applicable to him. He must fast that day.
