Answer:

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Sister in Islam,

We take note of the contents of your email. We sympathize with you in your unfortunate predicament. May Allaah Ta’aala grant you relief and solace from your situation. Aameen.

Dreams are of the three types: the good ones from Allaah Ta’aala, the evil ones from Shaitaan and those which are expositions of one’s thoughts from throughout the day. If one sees a good dream, one should praise Allaah Ta’aala and pray that it comes to fruition. If one sees a bad dream, he should seek refuge from Allaah Ta’aala.

Do not make dreams the focus of your attention. Dreams are akin to a traveler. A traveler encounters various sceneries while traveling. However, he continues his journey and does not allow the scenery to stop him from traveling further and reaching his ultimate destination. Likewise, one should focus on the aims of one’s life and strive to achieve them.

Nevertheless, the congruent occurrence of the physical losses you refer to, such as the abdominal problems and asthma cannot be associated to your dreams. Rather, they are a coincidence with the dream. At times, it is the anxiety one suffers following to a disturbing dream that makes him paranoid and accede to an action he had dreamt of.

We advise you to seek medical and psychological help from specialists of the field. We pray that Allaah Ta’aala grants you complete recovery from your illnesses. Aameen.

And Allaah Ta’aala Knows Best.
