Is it fine to have your name written in arabic or english on your prayer mat?
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
It is permissible to have one’s name written on the prayer mat, in Arabic and in English. However, it should not be so loud or designed that it diverts one’s attention from the salaah. The simpler the prayer mat, the easier it is to stay focused.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
