if we’re praying in congregation and someone in front of us is wearing clothes with images, do we have to repeat our Salah? What if we’re praying in a masjid with a lot of children?
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
- If the person in front of your is wearing impermissible clothing and you are able to choose an alternative place, then you should do that. Remind them gently of the prohibition and advise them to remove that garment or flip it around. If you are unable to find an alternative spot or you have performed salaah behind them, then your salaah is valid. It does not have to be repeated.
- I am not sure I understand your question regarding children being present in the masjid. Their presence does not affect the validity of the salaah. Encourage them to join the congregation.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
