Question:
Assalamualaikum Mufti Sahab, is the Qurbani of female goats accepted, considering if they are of appropriate age?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Qurbaani of a female animal is permissible just as a male animal is permissible. This is on condition that the general requirements are met such as age. The required age for a male and female animal are the same.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
