Question:
Assalaamu alaikum Respected Mufti sahib

If one is in the state of janaabat, are they allowed to remove unwanted hair or clip their nails?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

It is permissible to remove unwanted hair and clip one’s nails while in the state of janaabah/major ritual impurity. Some jurists however have deemed it to be somewhat unadvisable.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
