Rukoo’ without qira’ah after Sajdah Tilaawah

Fatwaa ID: 1061

If the imam read surah iqra bismi and after the sajdah tilawah he stood back up but went into raku without reading surah qadr.

What is the hukm?

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The salaah is valid. Sajdah Sahw is not necessary. It is advisable to read something after coming up from Sujood Tilaawah. If this is left out and the imaam goes down to rukoo’, there is no affect on the salaah.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
