Question:
Salam. Is it ok to purchase Samsung care plus

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

If Samsung Care+ is kept as a retainer for providing the service of repairing your device, then that will be permissible. If Samsung Care+ is not providing the service of repairing but instead will pay or reimburse the cost of the repair, then this will not be permissible. This would be a form of insurance. Similarly, the Theft and Loss plan is not permissible. That is an insurance plan.
