Question:
Assalamu aalykum ww
If someone is in iddah because their husband passed away. Can they use shower gel scented one?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

A woman ‘iddah should avoid scented shower gels and soaps. She should opt for non-scented ones instead.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
