Question:
Hello
The reason for this email is because I wanted to know the reason or meaning behind the dream my father had last night around 3am.
in his dream “he is in a village back home which is in Pakistan and trying to make wudu in order to pray, but its hard for him to find clean water anywhere, everytime he finds or reaches for the water its filled with faeces (poop), so he is unable to make wudu or pray rather”.. then he woke up.
it would be kind of you to tell me the meaning of this dream.

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
Dreams are of the three types: the good ones from Allaah Ta’aala, the evil ones from Shaitaan and those which are expositions of one’s thoughts from throughout the day. If one sees a good dream, one should praise Allaah Ta’aala and pray that it comes to fruition. If one sees a bad dream, he should seek refuge from Allaah Ta’aala.
Nevertheless, a possible meaning is that Allaah Ta’aala has blessed or will bless your father with wealth[1]. However, he should be careful that the wealth is pure and it does not deter him from fulfilling his religious obligations nor does it negatively affect his Deen.
And Allaah Ta’aala Knows Best.

– (غائط) هو في المنام مال فمن رأى أنه تغوط غائطاً صلباً جامداً فإنه ينفق مالاً في صحة جسم والغائط السائل يدل على النفقة الكبيرة ومن تغوط والناس ينظرون إليه فليحذر من فضيحة تبدو منه أو كلام قبيح ومن تغوط من غير قصد منه وأخذ الغائط وحمله فإنه يأخذ دنانير بقدر ذلك الغائط……والغائط في المنام دليل على مال الرجل أو سره الذي لا يبوح به وربما دل الغائط على السفر لقوله تعالى: {أو جاء أحد منكم من الغائط} . ويدل على المبارزة والبراز يدل على قضاء الحاجة ويدل على زوال الأمراض الباطنة ويدل على الأفكار والوساوس وعلى رد الودائع وعلى نهاية المطلب فإن ظهرت رائحته أو لوث ثوبه أو خرج باستدعاء شديد دل ذلك على الهموم والأنكاد والشهرة الرديئة والتكلف والمغارم والإسقاط للحوامل والرقيق من ذلك فرج من الضيق لمن احتاجه

الغائط في المنام. مال فمن رأى كأنه تغوط غائطا صلبا جامدا فإنه ينفق مالا في صحة جسم. وإن كان سائلا فإنه ينفق نفقة كثيرة. ومن تغوط والناس ينظرون إليه فليحذر من فضيحة تبدو منه وكلاما قبيحا. ومن تغوط من غير قصد منه وأخذ الغائط وحمله فإنه ينال دنانيرا بقدر ذلك الغائط ومن أكل الخبز والغائط في منامه فإنه يأكل الخبز والعسل. ومن تغوط على الفراش فإنه يطلق الزوجة أو يعتزلها من النكاح لأن الغائط يمنع النكاح كما يمنع الطلاق والغائط مال حرام ولقبح رائحته
