Sensational dream

Fatwaa ID: 2066

Question:
Salam I had a dream but was not sexual but looking at someone doing something sexual to themself and I don’t remember releasing anything in my dream except white and yellow regular discharge and I remembered after few days about this dream what do I do now and how does the discharge for a women look like and how much?

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

We take note of the details of your query. It is not clear whether the discharge you saw was seminal fluid/mani or arousal fluid/madhi. The former is generally discribed as being yellow and thin. This is other than the regular discharge. If it was this fluid, then ghusl was necessary on you. In such a case, you will have to repeat all the salaahs you performed from them until your next ghusl. If it was any other fluid, then ghusl was not necessary. The fluids in all cases however are najis and must be washed off.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
