Shaytaan urinates on her head

Fatwaa ID: 1726

Assalamu alaikum
Someone wanted to know:
if a woman removes her hijab at home, does the shaytan urinate on her head? She mentioned that she has been getting told this by elder ladies in her family so wants to if there is any base to it and if it’s ok for women to remove hijab at home when no non mehram is likely to see her.

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The above is baseless. The shaytaan does not urinate on a woman’s head if she removes her hijaab in the privacy of her home. It is permissible for her to remove the hijaab when in her home provided that there are no non-mahrams around.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
