Question:
‏السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
If i show a young pic of myself without a hijab to a non mehram would it be haram
The question is from a sister

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

At the outset, it is not clear why you would want to show pictures of your younger self to non-mahrams. We assume that there is a genuine reason for you to do so. If not, then you should not be showing such pictures to a non-mahram at all. Nevertheless, if the picture you refer to prior to becoming baaligh is similar to what you looked after becoming baaligh, then it will not be permissible for you to show such pictures to non-mahrams. If the pictures are vastly different, then it will be permissible when there is a valid reason.
