Question:

aoa. we would like to have a baby girl n we need a special dua for it

Allah has already blessed us a boy and a girl but we want Allah to gv us another baby girl

plz advice urgently

Answer:

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

At the outset, it is important to understand that it is Allaah Ta’aala who grants couples children and it is He who deprives them of children. It is He who grants them male offspring and it is He who grants them female offspring. Consider the following verse:

يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ إِنَاثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ الذُّكُورَ (49) أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا وَيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ

Translation: He grants to whomever He so wills female offspring and He grants to whomever He so wills male offspring. Or He bestows (upon some) both males and females. And He makes barren whomever He so wills. Indeed, He is All-Knowing, All-mighty. (Ash-Shooraa v.49-50)

There are no special du’aas for male or female offspring. You may make your own du’aas after the daily salaahs for a female child. Allaah Ta’aala is the one who granted you a baby girl and He can grant you a baby girl again.

We make du’aa that Allaah Ta’aala blesses you with a righteous child who will be a means of the coolness of your eyes. Aameen.

And Allaah Ta’aala Knows Best.
