Question:
Assalam o Alaikm sir, what is more afzal for women? Offer taraweeh (provided they have memorised only one juz of the Quran that they can recite in taraweeh?or recite more and more Quran to complete as many as possible in Ramadan? Because when I don’t offer taraweeh I recite and complete more Quran like 5 Quran in one Ramadan but when I offer taraweeh I can only complete 2 Quran in a Ramadan.

Answer:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The above is from the deceptions of the shaytaan. Taraaweeh Salaah is sunnah muakkadah. A person will be sinful for leaving it out without a valid excuse. Tilaawah is not a valid excuse to leave out Taraaweeh. Sunnah will be given preference. Take out some other time during the day and night to complete the other three khatmahs you anticipate.
