The pen has been lifted so what pen did Nabi ﷺ hear in the Mi’raaj journey

Fatwaa ID: 1983

It says that the pens have been lifted and the ink is dried but when Nabi (s) went for isra and miraj what was the pen writing/ scratching sound he heard

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

The pens and writings in the two scenarios are two different pens and writings. The pen that has been lifted is the pen that wrote the taqdeer, i.e., everything that will happen from the beginning to end. These writings are the Lawh al-Mahfooz. As for the writings that Nabi ﷺ heard during his Mi’raaj journey, that was the angels writing the instructions and wahi from Allaah Ta’aala as well as the angels documenting from the Lawh al-Mahfooz.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
