Salam alaykum. Does dua istikhara have to be read at night before bed or can I recite it after maghrib or during the mornings also?
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
There is no set time nor prescribed time for Du’aa Istikhaarah. It may be recited at any time. It should also be noted that there is no sleep prescribed after that as well.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
