Jazak Allah Khair 🕌

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

We are accountable and duty bound to Allaah Ta’aala alone. We seek His pleasure and validation only. We are not concerned about what others have to say about us if that results in displeasing Allaah Ta’aala. What others have to say should not be a deciding factor or deterrent for us when doing something permissible. At the same time, we are advised to maintain a good reputation and social standing in society. This is obviously provided that we are not thereby disobeying Allaah Ta’aala or doing something contrary to the teachings and values of the Shari’ah. Deen comes first and before everything else even if it means making others unhappy.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
