In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Marriage is a great sunnah of Rasulullaah ﷺ and it is an act of worship. This alone is a sufficient reason to get married. Consider the following hadith of Rasulullaah ﷺ,

“Marriage is from my sunnah. Thus, whosoever does not act accordingly, he is not from me (my followers). And get married, for I’ll surely increase the population of my ummah through you.” [Ibn Maajah 1846]

While marriage is generally recommended in Islam, it is only compulsory when one fears succumbing to temptations and falling into zina (fornication).  If one fears that he/she will not be able to fulfill the rights of the spouse, then in certain cases it will be disliked or even forbidden.

That being said, there are many benefits of nikaah. It is not only about discipline, protection and growing. In these angles as well, we disagree with your claim. Marriage is a natural bonding which assists one’s emotional, physical and mental well-being. To go against the demand of nature and to claim otherwise is a folly which will lead to regret later on.

Allaah Ta’aala created us with this natural connection. He knows what is best for us. He is al-Hakeem, the All-Wise. We have been instructed to place our tawakkul and reliance upon Him. We trust Him here as well where He advised us to get married. We should not use our imperfect reasoning to go against this.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best.
